A Radio program you regularly listen to.
Name the programme
Describe it
Why you like it

Well, there are several popular radio programs.
This is due to the popularity of FM stations.
When it comes to my personal liking,
I would like to speak of a phone-in programme.

It is a musical and it is aired once a day.
To be precise, it is at 1 pm. It lasts for an hour.
The name of the programme is Priyaraagangal:
To put it roughly in English, it can be said,
favourite tunes or songs or something like that…………………..

It works like this:
During the programme itself, listeners are asked to call the station
and talk to the presenter, and the presenter takes up a conversation
with the caller.

This may include breaking some small jokes
Or exchanging pleasantries, enquiring about their interests and hobbies
And, sometimes, there may be a small quiz on film songs and their corresponding films, directors, and actors etc.
and winners are likely to get simple prizes by mail.

On some days, this programme hosts a celebrity
from film or music industry, and callers can talk to them online.
People take it as a great privilege to be talking to such famous people.

I like this programme because, at the end of the conversation,
the caller can suggest a favourite film song to be run
And the same will be aired right-away.
I have got many chances to talk to celebrities.

One additional advantage the listener enjoys is
The he or she can dedicate this particular song to his friends
sweet heart, relatives and neighbours.

Of course, this programme is very popular among youngsters
Naturally, I like it too. Whenever I am home,
I do spare some time enjoying this audio entertainment.
